The Shur-Set III Breakaway Kit is intended for use on 1, 2 or 3 axle trailers with electric brakes.
Mounts on any flat surface with bolt or welded installation. Galvanized metal mounting bracket and locking bar provide secure battery protection. Meets or exceeds D.O.T. specs.
Breakaway systems are required on all trailers that are required to have brakes. (Check Federal Regulation #393.43)
Includes lockable battery case with mounting bracket, 12v sealed rechargeable battery, nylon breakaway switch and 12Volt DC trickle charger.
